We are seeking an experienced Field Commissioning Lead to plan, manage, and coordinate field integration testing activities across multiple offshore installations and relevant subsea infrastructure.

The role provides leadership and direction across all project delivery lines, with responsibility for field integration testing, coordination of marine support, and proactive risk management. The position is fully mobile, with a base location at an onshore office in Stavanger.

Position Purpose

• Ensure project completion and commissioning requirements are implemented and executed safely and efficiently

• Ensure field integration systems and integration packages are successfully commissioned and handed over to Operations

• Provide assurance that commissioning activities meet project and operational requirements, including verification and quality assurance

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide clear leadership and direction across relevant disciplines, maintaining strong focus on HSE performance

• Provide commissioning support to the project, including securing adequate manning and resources aligned with project needs

• Act as Site Commissioning Authority during commissioning phases when required

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Project Completion & Commissioning organization, the Field Commissioning Lead will be responsible for:

• Contributing to project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates related to the field integration scope

• Advising on completion strategy, commissioning planning, and execution, ensuring field integration aspects are fully addressed

• Managing contractors and service providers involved in field commissioning activities

• Providing leadership and coordination of commissioning discipline resources to:

  • Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures and bridging documents

  • Ensure alignment across all interfacing topside and subsea systems

  • Execute the field commissioning scope

  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations

• Establishing and coordinating workshops and commissioning reviews across disciplines and delivery lines to develop an integrated execution plan

• Supporting early establishment of completion, commissioning, and handover strategies, including documentation to enable efficient handover to Operations

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent education/experience

• Solid experience from field integration and commissioning roles in offshore projects

• Experience from operations-related environments is a strong advantage

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• High awareness of HSE requirements and safe work practices
