About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety & Automation Systems (SAS) Engineer to join our team for a temporary assignment in Stavanger. This role will focus on planning, executing, and supporting modifications to our Safety and Automation Systems, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute modifications for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).

• Provide technical support to resolve direct and short-term operational issues.

• Ensure all Life Cycle Information (LCI) is kept up-to-date.

• Maintain close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.

• Perform defect elimination and support Root Cause Failure Analysis for production losses.

• Manage costs within agreed budgets for assigned activities.

• Actively participate in the automation engineering community, including team meetings.

Required Expertise:

• Master of Science or equivalent degree in Automation, preferably with a specialization in Control Systems.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and operation of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), ideally within the oil and gas industry.

• Mandatory experience with ABB control systems.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant discipline standards and guidelines.

• Systematic, structured, and reliable approach to daily tasks.

• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
