Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Electrical / Heat Trace Engineer to join a large EPC project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop expertise in electrical heat trace design for onshore and offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Calculate, select, and oversee heat trace cable designs

Design and follow up on heat trace requirements based on P&IDs and project specifications

Input, update, and maintain the heat trace engineering register

Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings and coordinate between fabrication and engineering teams

Interface with other disciplines to ensure compliant, reliable heat tracing solutions

Required Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Technical College in relevant field, with a minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in onshore and offshore facilities

EX course (to be renewed every 5 years). If candidate does not hold an EX certificate, the course must be completed shortly after starting work

FSE course with first aid certification

Required Work Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and calculations of electrical heat trace systems for offshore projects

In-depth knowledge of electrical design according to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

Experience with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks
