Senior Subsea Engineer

Location: Stavanger, with offshore work required
Work arrangement: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from October 2026 to September 2027
Responsibilities
Participate in the planning, preparation, and execution of onshore and offshore IMR (Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair) tasks.
Contribute to analysis, propose improvements, and support their implementation.
Utilize expertise in maritime subjects for project execution.
Develop methods and review the scope for IMR activities.
Act as a company representative during offshore operations.
Lead and plan maintenance scopes for subsea assets as required.
Monitor and report on cost and schedule performance.
Structure and complement collected data such as video, subsea status, and lessons learned.
Required expertise
BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, subsea, controls/cybernetics, marine technology, or a similar field.
Experience from offshore operations, particularly with ROV systems (operations and/or maintenance) is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
A strong commitment to and track record of contributing to HSSEQ performance and culture.
A certificate of apprenticeship in a relevant subject is considered an advantage.
