Rotation: 2/3 rotation after an initial dayshift period

About the position
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning System Responsible – Electro to join a major offshore energy project.
The position will initially be based onshore in Stord, working dayshift before transitioning to a 2/3 rotation. The next phase of the assignment will involve work in Stavanger and offshore.
You will have overall responsibility for designated electrical systems throughout completion and commissioning, ensuring that activities are planned and executed safely, efficiently and according to project requirements.
Key responsibilities
Plan, prepare and execute MC and commissioning activities for designated electrical systems.
Follow up commissioning activities both onshore and offshore.
Provide engineering input, planning and estimates for commissioning scope.
Review relevant documentation and drawings during the preparation phase.
Develop, review and implement commissioning procedures.
Participate in MC punch rounds, punch-outs and FATs at supplier sites.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning and other disciplines to ensure efficient execution.
Update progress and relevant information in the project completion system.
Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and resources as required.
Manage contractor personnel and other resources supporting commissioning activities.
Ensure spare parts, special tools and first fills are available when required.
Maintain a strong focus on HSE/HSSE throughout all activities.
Plan and execute commissioning activities in accordance with the commissioning schedule.
Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews where required.
Ensure a smooth and effective handover of plant and equipment to Operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient ways of working in line with LEAN principles.
Qualifications and experience
BSc in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
MSc in Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Solid experience from NORSOK projects.
Strong system-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
Proven experience with electrical system commissioning.
Experience from the Oil & Gas industry and projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is highly advantageous.
Experience with project completion and document management systems.
Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead commissioning engineers, technicians and supporting personnel.
Good understanding of commissioning processes from preparation through execution and handover.
