Structural / Structural Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities: 

  •   Perform structural steel modelling and drawing production using E3D and E3D Draw.

  • Carry out structural design work for main steel, secondary steel, and outfitting steel

  • Produce fabrication drawings and material take-offs in accordance with project requirements

  • Perform self-check and contribute to checking of design work within the team

  • Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated and constructible solutions.

  • Support fabrication follow-up and respond to design-related queries

  • Participate as a team member in structural and multidisciplinary project teams.

 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

 

Required Work Experience:

5 years of experience as a structural design engineer in engineering offshore projects



Required Qualifications:

  •  Experience with structural steel modelling and drawing production using E3D and E3D Draw

  • Experience with design of main, secondary, and outfitting steel structures.

  • Good knowledge of relevant design codes and standards such as DNV, Eurocode, and NORSOK
