Senior Planning Engineer Drilling & Well

Candidates withut valid work permit in Norway and Operator NORSOK experience will not be evaluated

Location: Stavanger & Bergen

Duration: 01.03.2026-27.02.2027
Option Period: 2 x 6 Months

We are currently looking for Drilling & Well Engineers to strengthen our customers Drilling & Well Planning teams. These teams play a key role in supporting the Well Construction Process and D&W operations.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Drilling & Well Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and design work related to planned operations. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing key planning input for execution of Drilling & Well activities

  • Supporting and following up ongoing daily operations

  • Performing experience transfer and well reporting

  • Working in multidisciplinary teams

  • Selecting methods, performing risk assessments, and evaluating/recommending required equipment

  • Offshore travel when required

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree within relevant technical disciplines

  • Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for some roles)

  • Valid IWCF certification (required for some roles)

  • Compliance with internal competence requirements
