Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Completion Engineer – XMT & Wellhead to support the Commissioning and Project Completion Team. The role assists in planning, preparing, and executing activities related to completion, hook-up, and commissioning through all project phases.

This position is fully mobile, with a base in Stavanger and travel required to Bergen, Stord, and offshore installations.

Position Purpose

• Participate in topside XMT, Wellhead, and Downhole Equipment testing and EFAT programs at suppliers

• Act as the completion focal point for intervention and delivery of XMT and Wellhead packages

• Ensure project schedule and planning are aligned with overall project timelines

• Provide guidance for Hook-Up & Commissioning SIMOPS in Well Bay areas

• Oversee offshore hook-up and commissioning of XMTs and Wellhead systems

• Monitor mechanical completion and testing of XMT & Wellhead components

• Facilitate data flow and reporting in project management systems

• Ensure safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to Operations

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support preparation of project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates for commissioning and XMT hook-up activities

• Provide commissioning support and ensure sufficient resourcing according to project needs

• Act as Site Commissioning Authority when required

• Ensure all completions and commissioning requirements are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project standards

• Implement commissioning certification and handover processes

• Supervise and guide contractors and commissioning teams for XMT, WHCP, and HPU systems

• Witness contractor/supplier tests (FAT/SAT), develop and implement commissioning procedures

• Ensure smooth transition from Project to Operations

• Coordinate multi-discipline commissioning reviews

• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent education/experience

• Experience in operations, commissioning, or completion engineering is a strong advantage

• Strong leadership and coordination skills

• Ability to work safely in offshore and onshore environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
