Job Responsibilities:
As part of the technical safety team you will have the opportunity to work in some of the following areas:
o Functional Safety Engineering (FSA)
o Safety integrity level (SIL)
o Area classification
o Fire and Gas (F&G) / Emergency shut down (ESD)
o Escape routes and evacuation means
o Passive and active fire protection (PFP)
o Working environment (WHERA, chemical risk analysis, Human factors)
o External environment (BAT assessment, environmental budget, energy demand, air emissions, discharge to sea, chemical usage)
Required Education:
Master or Bachelor degree within relevant topics
Required Work Experience:
• Work experience within the Oil & Gas industry in the NCS
• Experience with FEED and early study projects (preferred)
• Experience and knowledge of offshore process and process safety design
• Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, WHERA
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, PTIL, ISO, PSA, API standards etc.
Required Qualifications:
• Have good communication skills, orally and written, in Norwegian and English
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have a high degree of self learning skills
