Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders
Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
Ensure all activities comply with relevant guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or relevant experience to compensate
Relevant subjects: SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years
Required Qualifications:
Strong commercial mindset
Professional, independent and team player. Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills
Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English
Flexible, Open and Responsible
Working in a structured and efficient manner, according with applicable guidelines
