Electrical Discipline Lead - Offshore Wind Projects
Job Responsibilities:
Are you prepared to take a leadership role in HVDC and HVAC offshore wind projects?
We are seeking an Electrical Lead Engineer to support study and tendering phases for HVDC and HVAC topside offshore wind projects. The right candidate will lead technical activities within the electrical discipline in a large international working environment.
Typical tasks will be:
Lead the Electrical discipline within the project, with end-to-end responsibility for resources, planning, deliverables, scope definition, task priorities, and quality
Together with the electrical team, develop electrical philosophies and core deliverables, including topologies, SLDs, and load lists, in line with company's specifications, client requirements, laws and regulations.
Verification of design from previous study phases
Manage interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, client, and other contractors.
Organize and lead team meetings, workshops, and design reviews; ensure timely decision-making and clear action items.
Possibility to continue to later project phases, such as FEED and EPC
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Electrical Lead role with involvement in electrical system design and execution.
Minimum 10 years’ project experience in electrical system design and execution.
Experience from Offshore Wind projects is preferred.
Experience from early-phase / conceptual Electrical system design is a benefit
Required Qualifications:
Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English, both orally and in writing
Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
Ability to work independently as well as in team
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher
