Preservation Engineer

As a Preservation Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of preservation activities within your discipline, ensuring all materials and equipment are protected throughout the project lifecycle. You will oversee discipline administration, communication, and manpower, and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain familiarity with the Project Execution Plan for your area of responsibility and update it as required.
Manage all preservation deliverables, including material and CPI reception, protection, and preservation.
Identify and follow up on resource needs to support efficient execution.
Oversee discipline resources, ensuring tasks and deliverables are completed to the required standard.
Accountable for execution and follow-up of ITP inspections within your area.
Plan, monitor, and report progress in line with project schedule, budget, and contractual milestones.
Coordinate with other disciplines on interface-related matters.
Ensure all HSE aspects related to preservation activities are assessed, planned, implemented, and followed up.
Plan, prepare, and execute preservation activities in accordance with project guidelines.
Contribute to the development of governing documents, procedures, and work instructions for preservation.
Serve as a technical resource in specific fields, and participate in relevant forums as needed.
Participate in tender work when required.
Engage in Commissioning/MC/Preservation professional networks.
Support knowledge transfer and contribute to building technical competence within the discipline.
Provide support to colleagues and other project teams and contribute to experience sharing.
Requirements
Strong understanding of discipline-related work processes.
5–10 years of experience in EPC projects within topside and facilities or the renewables segment.

MIPS
PIMS / PCS (PIMS)
MS Office 365
Autodesk Simulate
Education
Technical or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
