About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Completion Engineer (Electrical) to take responsibility for the planning, execution, and supervision of mechanical completion and commissioning activities for electrical systems within a large-scale offshore development project.

The successful candidate will serve as the System Responsible Engineer for a range of electrical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely completion in alignment with project standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as System Responsible Engineer for HV systems, heat trace systems, LV systems, UPS systems, and SAS interface.

Contribute to preparation phases by reviewing and verifying documentation and drawings relevant to MC and commissioning.

Provide engineering input for design, construction, and completion activities.

Estimate and plan the commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore.

Plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities independently.

Participate in MC punch-outs and FATs at supplier sites.

Deliver input and update progress in the project completion system.

Develop and review commissioning procedures and ensure efficient implementation.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth commissioning with a strong HSSE focus.

Plan and manage the mobilization of additional technical support and resources.

Ensure spare parts, special tools, and first fills are available prior to commissioning.

Provide leadership and guidance to commissioning personnel.

Support a safe and efficient handover from Project to Operations.

Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field), or equivalent experience.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas or energy industry.

Proven experience with NORSOK-compliant projects.

Strong knowledge of system-based commissioning for HV, LV, and UPS systems.

Experience using project completions systems (e.g., PIMS) and document management tools.

Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate commissioning teams and activities.
