Subsea Production System Engineer

Work Type: Onshore (with sporadic offshore work)


 A New Execution Model is being implemented for SURF projects, emphasizing standardization of processes, collaboration, and efficiency in project execution.

The Subsea Facilities disciplines include:

Subsea Production Systems and Processing Systems

Subsea Control Systems

Umbilicals and Subsea Cables

Subsea Power Cable

Risers and Flexible Pipes

Flowlines, Trunklines, and Onshore Pipelines

Responsibilities

Participate in concept development and screening for subsea systems and structures.

Define and describe scopes and select relevant technical requirements.

Support tendering and evaluation activities.

Prepare technical documentation for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.

Follow up contractor activities during studies, project execution, and technology qualification.

Provide technical input related to subsea structures, manifolds, and operations.

Occasionally participate in offshore work when required.

Qualifications

Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Subsea, Marine, or similar).

Minimum 5 years of experience with subsea structures, manifolds, subsea systems, or operations.

Experience in concept development, tendering, and project execution within subsea facilities.

Strong collaboration and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Structured, systematic, and results-oriented approach.

Commercial mindset with a strong focus on Safety, Sustainability, Ethics, and Equinor values.
