Electrical Engineer (Offshore Modifications & Documentation)

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and develop new documentation and drawings, including heat trace layouts and calculations, lighting, and small power layouts.
Revise and update existing documentation and drawings as required.
Prepare installation work packages in Norwegian.
Produce documentation for selectivity calculations.
Perform discipline checks and approve project documents and drawings.
Order and manage all electrical materials required for offshore installation.
Interpret and work from P&IDs and multi-discipline drawings.
Collaborate with client and vendor representatives to identify and implement optimal technical solutions.
Education
Minimum of a technical degree with relevant trade certificates.
Work Experience
4–7 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
Good knowledge of applicable standards, including Ptil, ATEX, IEC 61892, and NORSOK.
Qualifications
Experience with modification work on offshore installations in operation.
Proficiency in Norwegian, both written and verbal.
Required Certificates
Valid Norwegian offshore safety training and health certificate.
Valid EX and FSE certificates.
