Senior Project Planner - Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC)

The Commissioning Project Planner will provide comprehensive planning and scheduling support in line with corporate processes, procedures, and tools.
Reporting to the Project Control Lead and Project Completion Manager, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating the Offshore Integrated Plan for the Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) phase, ensuring alignment across delivery lines and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Offshore Integrated Plan for the HUC phase, integrating scopes such as Drilling & Wells, Offshore Modifications, TAR, SURF, Transportation & Installation, and HUC.
Ensure timely, high-quality development of detailed delivery line and alliance schedules.
Lead regular planning meetings to monitor progress, identify interfaces, and manage SIMOPS issues.
Communicate schedule changes and ensure updates across all delivery lines.
Maintain POB (Personnel on Board) requirements and coordinate with the Asset Activity Planning group.
Highlight key Operations and TAR activities within the integrated plan.
Coordinate and plan detailed HUC activities, linking them to the overall project schedule.
Provide guidance on HUC planning standards and ensure compliance.
Support close-out of completion scopes to safeguard overall project completion.
Drive continuous improvement and consistency in project planning standards.
Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and opportunities.
Ensure planning processes and standards are followed to enable accurate monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior or lead planning role (10 years if no degree).
Experience:
Strong understanding of offshore development project execution and associated Decision Gate processes.
Advanced user of industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Oracle Primavera, Safran).
Experience with risk modelling using Primavera Risk Analysis, Deltek Acumen, or Safran Risk.
