Job Description

• Develop the network and cyber security philosophy and design for assigned projects.
• Prepare and deliver engineering documentation, including network topologies, block diagrams, zone & conduit diagrams, risk assessments, network configuration documents, and wiring diagrams.
• Establish project-specific Cyber Security Specifications.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
• Perform risk assessments of subcontractor packages/systems in accordance with IEC 62443 Cyber Security Standards and other relevant regulations and requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and prepare study reports.
• Prepare MTOs and follow up with suppliers on equipment and services.
• Develop installation, configuration, and test procedures.
• Participate in FAT/SAT testing and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to the formulation of strategies, procedures, specifications, and philosophies within the company’s cyber security discipline.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s HSE guidelines and QA objectives.
• Provide technical input and solutions to reduce CO₂ footprints, and promote standardized, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
• Solid knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols and network design.
• Experience with relevant regulations and standards such as NOG, IEC 62443, ISA 99, DNV, and NORSOK.
• Background from a control system vendor or system integrator is an advantage.
• For the right candidate, strong motivation and willingness to learn and grow within Cyber Security and Network Engineering can compensate for some missing qualifications.
