A qualified consultant is sought to support the DISC digital collaboration initiative, a program focused on enabling interoperability in Life Cycle Information (LCI) data exchange across the oil and gas sector. The project leverages industry and international standards while developing new digital formats, reasoning capabilities, and functionalities to drive efficient data collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the organization in follow-up activities, discussions, and working groups related to the DISC initiative
Lead development of reasoning and automated capability checks using the Information Modelling Framework (IMF) and semantic web technologies.
Support activities related to identifier management and contribute to the development of a common DEXPI profile for digital Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of cross-activity efforts with overall interoperability goals.
Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across project teams and participating organizations.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience with semantic web technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL, SPARQL) applied in industrial projects.
Strong understanding of Life Cycle Information management and related data requirements in the oil and gas industry.
Familiarity with data exchange and interoperability standards (e.g., ISO 15926, CFIHOS, OPC UA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Background in digital transformation and data-driven collaboration initiatives is considered an advantage.
