Automation/Senior SAS Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS safety system design.
Tasks include:
System Design, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed by automation team lead
Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and at required detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketch input)
Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, for integration of SIS systems.
Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client
Offshore survey may be required
Required Education:
Bachelor or higher
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation and SIS system design, including experience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system.
Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
Required Qualifications:
Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing
Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
Ability to work independently as well as in team
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
Required Certificates:
FSE-course, valid through the engagement
Ex-course, valid through the engagement
