Job Description:
- During Pre-Ops and start up phase:
- Quality assurance of activities related to developing maintenance programs for dedicated equipment and the implementation in SAP.
- Improvement of tools and frameworks related to maintenance, including MTC updates
- Support maintenance and project teams with equipment specific knowledge and expertise.
- Role as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the workflow 'Manage Condition Alert'/condition monitoring.
- Take necessary actions to achieve new ways of working for the field, including necessary involvement in Performance based cooperation.
- Secure necessary spare parts according to Operation strategy.
- Prepare for handover of equipment from the project organisation.
- Establish ownership and detailed knowledge to relevant equipment and plants, this will include yard visit, and some travelling must therefore be expected.
- Participate in authority verifications.
- Prepare budget, according to budget management model, for relevant equipment
- Follow up of relevant equipment vendors
In Operation: - Support maintenance and projects teams with equipment specific knowledge and expertise.
- Support maintenance planners with complex work order planning, i.e larger equipment overhauls, turn arounds and minor modifications.
- Role as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the workflow 'Manage Condition Alert'/condition monitoring.
- Budget role according to the budget management model for dedicated equipment.
- Optimize maintenance programs and equipment strategy to achieve safe and efficient operations.
- Co-operate with Condition Based Maintenance engineers to predict and prevent unplanned failures on relevant equipment.
- Follow up vendors with respect to repairs.
- Optimize spare parts and stock availability.
- Participate in authority verifications.
- Occasional plant visits, both onshore and offshore.
Qualifications:
- Min B.Sc in Instrument / Automation discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within automation / instrument engineering
- Knowledge of requirements and working methodology offshore and in asset operations onshore.
- Experience from the project is preferred
- Good knowledge to SAP PM modules is an advantage.
- Knowledge to relevant equipment standards and regulations.
- Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
