Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical System High Voltage Engineer to join a large EPC offshore topside and electrification project. The right candidate will join a major greenfield and integration project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills with respect to electrical system engineering. 

Typical tasks will be:

Design and specify electrical systems solutions and strategies for projects in study, FEED and detail phases. In this role you will collaborate closely with project and company representatives across disciplines. Main electrification scope includes land cables, subsea cables, HV-equipment in onshore -and offshore substations, as well as power other offshore platforms and grid connection.

Responsible for the Main Power Supply Package Specification, detailing the technical and functional requirements for high & low voltage suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements

Manage the Electrical System Infrastructure (ESI) package from development to execution, including detailed engineering, fabrication, logistics, installation, contract management, and hand-over to operation

Develop and assist in design of electrical philosophies, strategies, topologies, single line diagrams, load list, system description, PMS/PDCS systems and electrical system solutions

Follow up electrical system calculations, analyses and assessments

Required Education:

Bachelor's or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Required Work Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering from Norwegian continental shelf projects.

Solid understanding of electrical system analysis and transmission systems

Experience from Offshore electrification projects.

Proven track record in conceptual and detailed engineering for large-scale projects.

Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNV and IEC

Required Qualifications:
