Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS system design.
Tasks include:
System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System (SAS) at FEED detail level.
Ensure implementation of Global SAS system design through modification work, new system design and contractual interfaces
Technical responsible (PRE) for SAS package.
Coordination and follow-up SAS package technical deliveries, documentation, plans and solutions.
Review of SAS technical package documentation.
Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client.
Offshore survey may be required
Required Education:
Bachelor or higher
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 12 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
Minimum 8 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system design, incl SAS/automation pacakge follow-up.
Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
Required Qualifications:
Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing
Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
Ability to work independently as well as in team
Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
Required Certificates:
FSE-course, valid through the engagement
Ex-course, valid through the engagement
