Senior Site QA/QC Inspector/Coordinator-Aker BP

Responsibilities

Perform welding inspections and follow-ups in the workshop.

Conduct surface treatment inspections.

Coordinate NCRs and reporting and work closely with contractor

Expedite surface treatment procedures and coordinate coating personnel qualifications to ensure timely start-up

Manage coordination of personnel, including NDT cross-checking, site testing, and inspections from the technical integration team.

Participate in ITP activities and inspections.

Monitor and follow up on workshop progress.

Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.

Required expertise

A relevant engineering degree, proficiency, and certification in NDE methods, such as EWS/IWS

FROSIO level 3

Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of structural design and fabrication.

Knowledge to applicable project documents, industry procedures and guidelines, recommended practices, standards, and specifications.

Relevant experience from similar positions in other oil & gas projects may make up for formal education.

Weekend work and later shifts is expected upon need
