Mechanical Lifting Engineer

Competence and Experience:

  • English version of certificate: CPCS Code A62 Crane Supervisor qualification (or equivalent).
  • The candidate must be qualified to both develop and approve crane lifting plans and crane berthing studies.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is useful, as lifting plans are typically accompanied by scaled drawings showing various crane positions during the lifting process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and approve lifting plans.
  • Conduct lifting analysis.
  • Facilitate and participate in reviews.
  • Supervise lifting operations.
  • Ensure safe systems of work.
  • Prepare method statements.
