Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Technical college with 12 years of relevant engineering experience.

Competence and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in offshore/maritime projects with responsibility for detailed telecom design.
• Preferably familiar with Equinor's requirements, specifications, and methodologies (STID, ProCoSys, SAP, ARIS).
• Strong knowledge of NORSOK, ATEX, and DNV-GL regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in groups.
• Good multidisciplinary understanding and strong teamwork skills.
• Fieldwork experience is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in:
  • Network design
  • WiFi coverage calculations
  • VHF/UHF interference calculations and coverage assessments

Responsibilities:

• Lead discipline deliverables in studies and execution projects.
• Develop and provide technical documentation per customer requirements and update customer databases with metadata.
• Prepare installation packages.
• Participate in offshore inspections.
• Provide technical follow-up and collaborate with subcontractors.
• Contribute to bid work, meetings, and coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).

System Tools:

• Required: MS Office
• Preferred: AutoCAD, Equinor tools (STID, ProCoSys, SAP, ARIS)

Offshore Certificate:

• Beneficial but not required.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid courses required:
  • FSE with first aid and practical CPR
  • Ex basic (classroom training)
