Senior Health & Working Environment Professional - Oil & Gas Operator

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the execution of the discipline plan and documentation, while initiating and following up on relevant project activities.
- Provide technical support to engineers, ensuring compliance with discipline-specific requirements and solutions during the design phase.
- Conduct thorough reviews of discipline-related documentation and reports.
- Identify, track, and ensure accurate interface information relevant to Working Environment (WE).
- Follow up on and verify discipline inputs in the design process, ensuring compliance with system and functional requirements.
- Assist in audits, design reviews, user meetings, WEHRA, HAZID, and other project-critical activities.
- Support risk mitigation efforts by documenting ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) and legislative processes, including providing detailed assessments and conclusions on WE matters.
- Monitor contractors' resources, competency, and focus, ensuring alignment with discipline requirements.
- Support technology selection according to Best Available Technology (BAT) standards, and manage technology qualification programs as necessary.
- Assist in the development of project documentation and provide discipline-specific input where needed.
- Collaborate with the Discipline Lead WE to contribute effectively to project outcomes.
- Provide operational insights and feedback on concepts and design phases.
- Work closely with alliance partners to ensure alignment with the Design Basis, Functional Requirements, and industry standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on relevant project documentation.
- Liaise with the asset team to ensure proper handling of Safety Critical Engineering Documentation.
- Promote standardization efforts within projects and coordinate with Technical Authority (TA) for cross-asset and project standardization.
- Address technical queries from alliance partners and prepare/verify deviations for TA and Engineering Manager approval.
- Conduct discipline assurance activities, focusing on alignment with alliance partners.
Required Expertise:
- Comprehensive knowledge of working environment legislation and industry standards offshore (NORSOK S-002, C-001, and C-002).
- Strong understanding of onshore working environment regulations and standards.
- Prior experience in project work and relevant industry exposure.
